For Real. For Ever. Done.

There was a time that I thought it couldn’t happen. The journey was just too far, and the hill just too tall.

That time, I was wrong.

It gives me hope for another journey.

I’ve grown accustomed to your face

It is truly amazing to me how easily we fall into a rut. When you’re in the same place for fifteen years, growing up there, you can, for lack of better term, get used to it.

But now my life is changing in very short order. People I’ve known for many many years are moving away, and I myself am going to find a new home.

I hope I never take people and their place in my life for granted again.

Mass Confusion

Today was a wild one at work.

Most of it circulates around foreign currency. We’re one of the only banks in the area that carries foreign currency on hand, and so we get a lot of people looking for it. You can usually tell who they are. They are the mother and daughter, or the solitary guy, looking REEEEALLY confused. It’s a hoot. My manager scared one today, because he said: “Let me guess, foreign currency?”

They just have a look.

What’s your look?

Greetings to the Various Homo Sapiens of the Globe

“Hello world!” is the standard WordPress opening post.

Not very original. So, what’s a better idea? Come on, I know you have one.

Mine is: “Greetings to Various Homo Sapiens of the Globe.” But you saw that already. So you can come up with your own.

If you’re one of my old readers, from Wit or Wisdom, welcome. Greetings. Howdy. If you’re not, greetings, howdy, welcome. I don’t know if I’m witty or wise, or whatever, but I’m having fun! (Did you know you can have fun being God’s kid? You can! I do it all the time!)

Anyways, WoW (no, NOT World of Warcraft) died because of neglect. Also, I felt that the personal and the political had gotten far too mixed on the blog. So it’s time to start over. It would have been too much work to try and fix Wit or Wisdom, and no matter how many times I said I’d try again with it, it just didn’t seem to work out. It was like a relationship gone bad, and no matter how many time you try to save it, you and that other person (or blog) just aren’t going to get along. So it was time to breakaway from that relationship and form a new one.

Welcome to Paradox.
